Chilean writer of Croatian origin who lives in the Magallanes Region. He is a Spanish teacher, holds a Master’s degree in Philology with a mention in Hispanic Literature and a PhD in Education from the University of Salamanca. He has published books of poetry, short stories and novels, including Carabela portuguesa (2013), El barco de los esqueletos (2014) and Saratoga (2018). He has received, among other awards, the Francisco Coloane Prize (2014), the Ibero-American Julio Cortázar Prize (2015) and the Pablo Neruda Foundation Prize for Poetic Trajectory (2018).
