Paula Bombara

Argentine writer and science communicator. She has published, among others, the renowned novels El mar y la serpiente, Una casa de secretos, La chica pájaro, Lo que guarda un caracol, La fuerza escondida, La desobediente and La sombra del jacarandá. Her work has won many awards in Argentina and abroad and is present in Latin America, Spain, France and the United States. She created and currently directs the science communication collection ¿Querés Saber? at Eudeba, the publishing house of the University of Buenos Aires. Since 2023 she is content advisor for the collection “Entender y participar” at Siglo XXI publishing house. Since 2019 she is part of the multidisciplinary academic research group “Discursos e infancias”. In 2024, the Konex Foundation honoured her for her career in the category of Youth Literature.
