Kalandraka Editora

It was founded in 1998 with the slogan ‘Books for dreaming’ and the aim of offering works of the highest aesthetic and literary quality. It is a multilingual project that currently publishes in Spanish, Galician, Catalan, Basque, Portuguese, Italian and English. Illustrated albums of their own creation, adaptations of traditional tales, the revival of classic children’s books, books for pre-readers, books for easy reading, book-discs, poetry and art are the main lines of work that make up a lively and diverse catalogue.
The motivation to produce books that seduce, excite, entertain and last over time stems from the commitment to multiculturalism, education in equality, tolerance, respect for the environment; and from the commitment to encourage reading in order to promote imagination and curiosity.
