Ediciones Pozo de Arena

Pozo de Arena is an imprint of children’s and adults’ literature belonging to Ediciones Plazadeletras. It was born in 2018 as an area specialising in the publication of illustrated album books in the horror and mystery genre for children and young adults. Its mission is to publish books of high aesthetic quality due to the care and dedication in their format, edition and binding.
Its first publication, La familia M (Luis Peña Álvarez, 2020) was awarded the Publishing Support Fund of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage’s Book Fund in 2020, the Colibrí Medal distinction from IBBY Chile 2021 in the graphic narrative selection in the album book category, and the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2022.
