We are a Latin American agency aiming to take our authors’ voices around the world and attract new readers for our books, with a special focus on Asia Pacific. We represent writers, illustrators, and publishers from Latin America and Spain, to expand our horizons across various platforms. Our agency has vast experience and knowledge of the Latin American market, thanks to the trajectory of our founder, the acclaimed journalist Vivian Lavín.
VIVIAN LAVÍN
She is the driving force of our company: a renowned Chilean journalist, writer and editor with 20 years of experience in the cultural field. She hosts the award-winning radio literary program Vuelan las Plumas. She is the author of four books of interviews with Chilean and Latin American writers and artists.
She was a member of the Jury of the Manuel Rojas Ibero-American Fiction Prize in 2016.
Member of the Recommendation Committee of the Public Libraries of Chile.
Member of the Book and Reading Observatory.
She has been recognized by prestigious institutions such as the Society of Writers of Chile and the Chilean Academy of Language, among others.
ANDRÉS NASSAR
He is the one who designs communication and marketing strategies as a distinguished publicist with more than 30 years of experience in the field. He has developed the BancoEstado Film Contest, one of the most important in promoting the Chilean film industry. Partner of the BBDO-Chile agency for 15 years and winner of awards such as the Bronze Lion at the Cannes Festival, 1995; Grand Prix at FIAP, 1991 and Bronze Medal at the New York Festival, 2000, among others. Currently, he is a partner of Sámara Ltda.
CAMILA BEARD
She studied Graphic Design at the University of Chile and obtained a degree in Translation at the Escuela Americana de Traductores e Intérpretes (EATRI). She has worked for LATAM Airlines, Universidad Alberto Hurtado and some translation agencies, among others. Currently, she works at VLP Agency assisting in the areas of Design, Communications and Foreign Rights. She lives with her family in the countryside, in a beautiful rural area of the Valparaíso Region in Chile.
