Once upon a time, there was a wonderful forest,
full of light, where all kind of animals lived.
One day, suddenly, it started to rain.
And it rained more and more and more.
After the Rain is a modern fable about overcoming adversity, adapting to the environment and collaborating with each other for the survival of the collective. A deluge floods the forest and its inhabitants will have to survive in an improvised shelter. A small fox offers to look for food and water, but the group does not believe in its abilities -or in its intentions- and entrusts those tasks to other animals.
Solidarity and teamwork are present in the work awarded the VIII International Compostela Prize for Picture Books in the search for the common good, which does not depend on luxury, but on essential -and even immaterial- elements to meet basic needs.
