Not far from here, there is a village called Chickentown. Chickentown is an amazing place. Hens and people live side by side there. Every hen sleeps in a cozy bed and watches TV in a comfortable armchair. Hens even have their own bathrobes.
Chickentown is a rather peculiar town where the most popular animal is the hen. Each inhabitant has one at home, and they live in harmony and permanent happiness sharing comforts. But one day, mysteriously, a series of disappearances begin to happen that put the population on alert: with each disappearance, a new clue. The mayor has decided to organize citizen patrols, since the risk of kidnapping for all those feathered birds that lay eggs is very high. Only the wise witch of the place seems to know the right formula to discover the dangerous criminal. However, the upcoming celebration of the “Golden Feather” competition gives rise to some suspicions. Who will be to blame? Sometimes we can be made to believe things that are not.
Wooden pencils, watercolors and digital procedures give life to this unique town and its friendly neighbors, an original and fun illustrated album that combines humor, fantasy and some elements of the police genre. The illustrations are simply a gift for the senses.
