We haven’t seen the dawn for a long time.
Nor do we see the Moon among the stars or feel the rain falling.
It’s as if the Sun had gone far away.
Will he be tired of showing up every morning?
The sun, the moon and the rain have not been seen in the jungle for weeks and everything is wrapped up in a long night. The animals of the Amazonian forest – diurnal and nocturnal, those that run, fly or swim, that roar or caw- concerned that they no longer recognize their home, embark on a journey to find out why there is no dawn. The poetic text and the emotional treatment of colour are the tools used by the author to develop this necessary wake-up call in the face of the exploitation and destruction that the Amazon has suffered for decades. An album that also invites us to reflect on forest fires, a phenomenon that has accelerated in recent years due to the effects of climate change and that unfortunately becomes news every summer.
