The story revolves around a special tradition: every Friday, Dad takes over the kitchen to prepare his enigmatic secret recipe. During this process, the kitchen and Dad himself are transformed, incorporating elements of drama, music, science, yoga and more. The book culminates with a surprise ending and includes the secret recipe and the keys to decipher it, inviting readers to actively participate in the story.

Inspired by the author’s personal experience, the book was created to bring joy to her family during a difficult time when her husband was facing a prolonged illness. Joanna Mora transforms this experience into a narrative full of humor, tenderness and creativity, highlighting cooking as an act of love and family connection.
