The Castilian hen
is about to explode,
because her daughter,
at school, “poop” said.
In anguish she repeats:
-“peep” you must pronounce,
what will your classmate say!
a scandal you will cause!
This is the story of a little hen who does not know how to say “peep” like the others and who has to face the questioning of the other members of the henhouse. A book that addresses with humour and simplicity what it means to be different, but also what it feels like to suffer discrimination and mockery for not conforming to society’s norms.
